Why other platforms cannot do this
Most email platforms treat attachments as a spam signal and block them, and they host images externally so they can track opens. Both choices are reasonable for a normal audience and both break completely for a reader whose device will not fetch anything from the web. It is not a feature they forgot. It is a design decision that assumes the reader can browse.

What is a kosher or filtered device?
A phone or computer configured, often at the network or SIM level, to block web browsing and most apps. Email and SMS usually still work, which makes them the only reliable channel.
How large can an attachment be?
Over 10MB, which is enough for a designed PDF flyer, a multi-page form or a set of images.
Can I send OTP codes to a kosher phone?
Yes, as transactional SMS through the API. This is a common use for banks, insurers and service providers that need to verify a customer who cannot receive a push notification.
