Connect Meser10 to Claude and any AI agent
Developers and account owners can connect Meser10 directly to Claude, Cursor or an agent they built. The server talks to the Meser10 API and turns it into tools a model can use, with a safety gate that starts at read-only.
The Meser10 MCP server (Model Context Protocol) is open source under the MIT license. Its tools are built from the live API contract at runtime, so coverage is complete by design, and a new platform action appears without waiting for a new version. It is listed in the official MCP registry as io.github.meser10/meser10-mcp.
What you can do with it
Ask about the account (read-only, the default)
For example: how many recipients are on each list, which campaign went out last week and how many opened and clicked, which addresses bounced and who unsubscribed.
Add and update (write level)
The model adds contacts to a list, updates an email, phone or status, opens a new list and prepares a draft campaign. Nothing is sent to recipients.
Send email and SMS (send level)
Only after you turn this level on, the model sends a single email or SMS, or creates and sends a campaign to a list. These reach real recipients and use your package, so ask the model to show the text and recipients first.
Delete (separate level)
Deleting contacts and lists cannot be undone, so it is the last level, and it is not available from the Claude Desktop extension at all.
Three ways to install
- Claude Desktop extension. Download the extension, double-click it, and paste your API key into the form. Two switches, Allow changes and Allow sending, are off by default.
- npm, for any MCP client such as Cursor or Claude Code: add the package
@meser10/mcp-serverto your client's MCP configuration with your API key, account number and mode. - ZIP. Download version 1.0.2, build it and point your client to it. The full code is on GitHub.
Your key stays on your computer and is not shown to the model. Calls go out from your computer, so an IP allowlist on your account keeps working.
Questions
Is the Meser10 MCP server free?
Yes. It is open source under the MIT license. Messages you send through it use your Meser10 package as usual.
Can the model send a campaign by mistake?
Not by default. The server starts read-only, and sending has to be turned on explicitly.
Which tools work with it?
Claude Desktop through the extension, and any MCP client such as Cursor or Claude Code through npm.
Where do I get the API key?
In Meser10 under My account, Advanced settings, API settings.
