Add every paying Shopify customer to your Meser10 list

When an order is paid, the customer lands on your mailing list in Meser10, or their details are updated if they are already there. A ready-made Zapier template, set up in a few minutes.

What the template does

• Trigger: a new paid order in your Shopify store. It runs as soon as the order is paid.
• Action: Create or Update Contact in Meser10. New customers are added to the list you choose, existing ones are updated by email or phone, with no duplicates.
• Fields: email, phone, first and last name, address, city and zip code, plus five custom fields for things like order total or the product bought.

Set it up in four steps

1. Get your Meser10 API key, under account settings, advanced settings, API settings.
2. Open the template, sign in to Zapier and connect your Shopify store.
3. Connect Meser10 with the API key and type the list name exactly as it appears in your account.
4. Map the customer's email, phone, name and city from the order, place a test order, check the customer reached the list, and turn the Zap on.

Good to know before you switch it on

A purchase is not consent. A customer who bought from you has not necessarily agreed to marketing email. Add only customers who opted in at checkout, or keep buyers on a separate customers list for service messages.

The list name must match. Meser10 finds a list by its name, so renaming the list in your account breaks the Zap until you update the name there too.

Hebrew and English. Meser10 sends both, by email and SMS, from the same list.

Questions

Does connecting Shopify to Meser10 need a developer?

No. The template already has Shopify as the trigger and Meser10 as the action. You connect both accounts, type the list name and map the customer fields.

What happens if the customer is already on the list?

The action updates the existing contact instead of creating a duplicate. Contacts are matched by email address or phone number.

Can I send the customer an SMS when the order is paid?

Yes. Add a second Meser10 step to the Zap, Send SMS, with a short order confirmation. The SMS sender name must be approved in your account.

Do I need a paid Zapier plan?

It depends on your Zapier plan and your order volume. Some apps, and Zaps with more than two steps such as a filter step, need a paid Zapier plan. Check Zapier's pricing page for the current details.
